Mrs. Winsome H. Wellington

Mrs. Winsome H. Wellington serves as Treasurer for the Free School Community Children & Family Foundation, Inc., a community-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children and families in need.

Born and raised in Drapers, Portland, Winsome migrated to the United States of America in her late teens. She is a retired veteran of the United States Army and has been a returning resident of Jamaica for the past seven years.

Winsome is deeply passionate about helping underserved children and families, both locally and globally. Since returning to Jamaica, she and her husband have sponsored high school students through scholarship funding in the S.T.E.A.M. fields, while also assisting several families with educational support and daily necessities.

As a returning resident, she remains committed to giving back to the youth in her community through employment opportunities, mentorship, and encouragement.

Her years of service in the United States Army helped shape her discipline, integrity, organizational skills, and excellent work ethic. These qualities make her a valuable asset to the Foundation and support her continued dedication to uplifting children and families in need.
